Ambient night at the museum

Tapahtumat
Thu 23.8.2018
23:00-8:00
Aleksanterinkatu 16

The Night of the Arts brings a unique event to Helsinki City Museum! An audio-visual event will be organised in connection with the Helsinki Clubbing exhibition, where a small group of people will get the opportunity to spend the night in the exhibition space on the fourth floor of the museum.

The sounds of the night will be provided by DJ Orkidea, who will be playing a rare ambient gig. In addition, sound artist Lauri Wuolio will be performing his ‘Kumea Sound’ project performance, where the sounds of the cupola transport the listeners to a soft, dream-like and hypnotic state. VJ Suvi Suvereeni will be in charge of the visuals, showing off her neo-psychedelic style merging nature with graphic elements.
