Tips from the years of rationing for 9-11-year-olds on summer holiday

We organise open workshops for 9–11-year-olds on summer holidays on weekdays, 6–10 June and 13–17 June, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. At the workshops, participants will test out how people got through everyday life during the wars and the following years of rationing. Different tips and tricks were needed in housekeeping, the kitchen and clothing care, not to mention beauty.

Stop by for a moment or stay for the whole day, no registration necessary. The workshops are free, but some parts have a materials fee of EUR 2–5. The workshops start at 10 a.m., while the rest of the museum opens at 11. Welcome!
