Arrangements for Stones – Musiikkia kiville
An experimental club night that will build up slowly. Stone by stone, concretely.
The audience will be served with beverages and steadily accelerating music. Free entry.
Valkoinen Sali bar is open during the event.
You will find a pile of stones on the street.
You will pick one up. It’s the one you like the most.
The stone is now your guide through the night.
It is said that a human being has no perception of time. A
weekend can go by so fast yet fifteen minutes of waiting feels
like hours. An average stone can be as old as millions of years.
Us humans have a lifespan of approximately 79 years.
On the first weekend of August we’ll spend some time together.
Pick up a stone from a pile you’ll find in front of Helsinki
City Museum. Imagine the amount of time the stone has been
around just to end up with you. Bring the stone with you to the
Falkman courtyard inside the museum and place it where ever it
wishes to be placed. The music will slowly accelerate and the
night will be illuminated.
