Renovated meeting and event facilities now available in Varaamo
Helsinki’s online reservation booking system Varaamo offers access to the City’s public spaces, workstations and equipment. Now you can also easily book the City Museum’s renovated meeting and working spaces, which leave room for creativity.
Come and enjoy meeting room Kasari and multi-purpose room Seagull at the corner of Senate Square, right in the heart of Helsinki. More detailed booking and arrival instructions and accessibility information can be found in Varaamo. You can also order refreshments for your meetings from the café El Fant, which operates in the same building as the museum. The design of the City Museum’s renovated premises was inspired by familiar Helsinki places, such as the canopy kiosks that residents love.

Kasari is located on the first floor of the City Museum. Its 1980s-inspired colour scheme and interior design provide an inspiring setting for meetings, small group work and workshops.
Seagull is a versatile space ideal for organising both meetings and workshops. The tables and chairs are easy to arrange for small group work. The room features a small kitchen and you are also allowed to eat your own snacks there.
