Volunteer Cleaning Day in Paloheinä
Welcome to the volunteer cleaning day at an archaeological site in Paloheinä, Northern Helsinki. The event is part of The Unknown Suburb exhibition programme.
The Helsinki City Museum is hosting a spring clean-up at Nuotiopuisto Park in Paloheinä on Wednesday, 27 May, starting at 15:00. The park contains a fortification site from the First World War, which we will first explore under the guidance of a museum expert. After the introduction, we will begin cleaning up the area together in good company.
The City will provide litter pickers, rubbish bags, and refreshments for participants. Please bring your own gloves and a cup or bottle for drinks.
The event is open and free of charge.
