Siller choir’s Christmas concert
At the Christmas concert, the Siller choir will be singing holiday-themed songs in Estonian, Finnish and English.
The mixed choir Siller, founded in Helsinki in 2007, is the oldest Finnish-Estonian choir in Finland. The choir mainly sings pieces by Estonian composers, but also some by international composers. The choir’s spring and Christmas concerts and performance at St Martin’s Fair organised by the Tuglas Society are established traditions.
Siller offers choral music enthusiasts the opportunity to participate in Estonian-language activities in Finland, while also familiarising Finnish people with Estonian choral music. The choir’s creative director is Ingrit Malleus.
Please note that at the Helsinki City Museum a COVID-19 passport is required of all museum visitors over the age of 16. Please download the passport before visiting the museum and be prepared to prove your identity. Thank you for your cooperation!
